While not soundproof, we offer a variety of study rooms to help you focus.
Group study rooms
Group study rooms have space for 2 to 6 people and include technology purchased using student technology fees. Available for registered students only. Each room can be reserved for up to 3 hours.
Study with fewer distractions. Individual study rooms and pods provide seating and power outlets for lower distraction, private study. Available for registered students only. Each room can be reserved for up to 3 hours.
Iowa State University parents or caregivers can reserve the Family-Friendly Room located on the lower level. It has child-sized furniture, computers with educational software, drawing surfaces, and toys.
Graduate students, faculty, or P&S staff users can apply to use a research study room for the semester. These rooms are for research that requires extensive use of library materials.
